Donate to India

India is facing once in a lifetime calamity. The situation in India is very critical and fragile at this time – our motherland is in a crisis. A recent explosion of COVID cases is flooding the hospital system and there is a great unmet need for oxygen, medicines, and personal protective supply. Our brothers and sisters are dying while gasping for air.

As a committed organization, we must help our country in whatever capacity we can.

BJMC Ahmedabad ALUMNI USA is committed to providing a much-needed supply of oxygen concentrators, vaccines, and other equipment to Civil hospital Ahmedabad and the nearby poor areas. Each Oxygen concentrator costs $600 to $1100.00 depending upon the capacity. Moreover, we are trying to raise money to build an oxygen plant at Civil Hospital and other area hospitals for a more permanent solution – “Atma Nirbhar”. This oxygen plant will cost around 30 Lakh Rupees ($43000.00 USD), so they will need all the financial support that they can get.

We recently had an emergency meeting of the BJMC alumni Executive committee and have already authorized $50,000.00 worth of emergency funds to be designated to funding O2 concentrators and Vaccine support. Another $30,000.00 will be donated for emergency use equipment like ventilators to area hospitals in impoverished communities. Currently, there is an immediate need for medications, O2, ventilators, BiPAPs and vaccines. We are working with established nonprofits to ensure that our donated money goes promptly and directly to the people in need.
